Windwood Studios is located on a 12 acre woodland parcel in Columbia County adjoining large tracts of historic land along the Hudson River. We acknowledge that we are located on land that is predominantly on the ancestral lands of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans, who are the Indigenous people of this land.

I am grateful to occupy this special place on the planet that still provides habitat to wildlife. To the hawks, the owls, the piliated woodpeckers, the deer and other wild animals that shelter and feed here. Windwood Studios holds sacred this place on the planet along with the natural materials of clay and wood that make the craft of pottery possible.
